Check and relief check valves are offered in inline, cartridge, ball and split flange types. These are spring-operated poppet, with optional relief settings to allow free flow in only one direction and prevent backflow. They also feature zero leak (bubble-tight) seals at low and high pressures.

Metraflex offers a variety of check valve types. Globe style silent configurations eliminate water hammer with silent operation. Features include a center guided single disc, and bronze to bronze seating with special stainless steel spring control. Pressure/temperature ratings range from 150-200 PSI at 150 degrees. Wafer style silent check valves offer the same features and are rated to both 125 lb. to 250 lb. flange class.
