Industrial Specialties Mfg. designs and manufactures poppet check valves with cracking pressure of 1 psi to 7 psi; and nipple poppet check valves that feature cracking pressures up to 5 psi, and equal size inlets and outlets. The company also produces female x female poppet check valves - with pressures up to 1200 psi and operating temperatures up to 180F - and female NPT poppet check valves with 5000 psi maximum pressure. All the poppet valves are available with brass, nickel plated brass, or stainless steel bodies.

Poppet valve types manufactured by Numatics Inc. include solenoid pilot actuated, air pilot actuated, and foot pedal. Available in 2, 3, and 4-way designs, the valves feature Cv from 0.5 to 24, and port sizes of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", or 1-1/2".

Lexair Inc. designs poppet-type valves used in process control and industrial applications. Constructed of non-corrosive materials and featuring working pressures up to 500 psi, poppet valve types available include direct pilot operated, direct solenoid operated, direct cam operated, check valve, and DIN solenoid/pilot operated. The valves are available in 2-way or 3-way, normally closed or normally open configurations.

Dresser-Rand offers poppet valves for process compressors and low ratio gas transmission services. The gas transmission valves feature a design that results in low stress levels at maximum allowable impact velocity and pressure differentials. The process compressor valves feature a streamlined gas path, larger flow holes, and spring vent holes.
