DFT Inc.

DFT is a manufacturer of in-line check valves and has been serving a variety of industries for over 65 years. DFT began with a customer's need for a small metal-seated check valve that could be installed in any position while providing tight shut-off. The Basic-Check by DFT valve was developed to satisfy that need. Over the following decades, other customers' needs led to the development of other DFT valve brands such as the ALC, DLC, DSV, Excalibur, FBC, GLC, GPV, PDC, SCV and WLC styles of in-line silent check valves. Each of these DFT in-line check valves addresses the particular needs of a modern day customer.

    DFT, Inc. offers FBC Insert Wafer and Basic-Check Threaded Inline check valves. FBC Insert Wafer valves have cracking pressures ranging from 0.15 to 0.6 PSIG, an outer diameter ranging from 2" to 6.19", and they come in sizes ranging from 1" to 4". Basic-Check Threaded Inline check valves have cold working pressures up to 6000 PSIG, valve cracking pressures ranging from 0.10 to 0.60 PSI, and come in sizes ranging from 0.25" to 2.50". Valves have the following applications: OEM machinery, pipeline, shut-off liquid, shut-off gas, and shut-off steam.

    DFT manufactures in-line check valves in four different styles; threaded, wafer, flanged and sanitary. The Basic threaded valve is an all-purpose, spring-assisted, in-line configuration. The Restrictor threaded check valve is used for applications that require higher cracking pressures to open it. The ALC Wafer type is an in-line, spring assisted, single guided "wafer" design to prevent "water hammer" and "reverse" flow.

    DFT Inc. offers threaded in-line, insert wafer, and in-line restrictor gas check valves. Model SCV threaded in-line check valves come in sizes ranging from 0.5" to 3", cold working pressures ranging from 0 to 3600 PSIG, Cv ratings ranging from 7 to 180, and cracking pressures ranging from 0.20 to 0.62 PSIG. These valves feature NPT/socket weld end connections, a stainless steel construction, and they have steam, gas, or liquid applications.

    DFT Inc manufactures a wide array of check valves, including in-line check valves. In-line check valves from DFT include threaded, wafer, flanged and sanitary models. These valves are used widely in chemical processing applications.

    DFT Inc. manufactures sanitary shut-off check valves designed to prevent flow reversal within industries with strict cleanliness codes. Available as vertical or horizontal, the shut-off valves are available in sizes ranging from 0.5" to 3". The valves feature horizontal cracking pressure of 0.23 psig to 0.54 psig.

    DFT Inc. manufactures three series' of silent check valves, each offering over 50 models to choose from. The PDC Series is specially designed for use on the discharge side of reciprocating air or gas compressors. The GLC Series are spring-assisted, center guided, in-line, flanged silent check valves.

    DFT Inc. manufactures a line of wafer check valves that feature an in-line, spring-assisted design, or a compact, lightweight insert design. The company's largest line of wafer valves - the WLC series - are available in sizes of 1", 1-1/2", 2" to 8", and 10", and in classes of 150 or 300. The WLC wafer valves feature cracking pressure ranging from 0.17 psig to 0.66 psig.
