Available configurations include: normally open/closed throttle, bypass/restrictive, proportional throttle, pressure compensated, fully adjustable, etc. Valves are pressure compensated, fully adjustable, they come with or without free flow checks, and an electro-proportional throttle. Ventable fixed orifice/pressure compensated flow control valves have a 5000 PSI maximum operating pressure, 45-50 lb-ft of valve installation torque, 12 GPM, and a 1 1/8" valve hex size.

The valvepaks are backed by Sun's screw-in hydraulic cartridge valves, and their manifolds are manufactured in either T-6061 aluminum (3,000 psi) or 65-45-12 ductile iron (5,000 psi); they can also accommodate up to 30+ individual cartridge valves. These screw-in cartridge valves are a trademark of the company; they are available in up to five sizes/capacities, and can handle flows up to 400 gallons per minute and pressures up to 5,000 psi.
