ABZ is a manufacturer of many types of butterfly valves. The 2"-12" split body wafer valve is built to 150 PSI for the chemical/food industries. The 2"-12" split body with full lugs meets ANSI 125/150 pound drilling. There are a variety of other 2"-12", 150 PSI butterfly valves available for chemical, food, sanitary or general purpose use. ABZ offers a 2"-72", ANSI 150/200 PSI, general purpose butterfly valve with a one piece body for general purpose usage.

ShanRod manufactures five different series' of butterfly valves. Their Heavy Duty dampers come in three different series. The 2300 Series fabricated damper bolts up to ANSI/ASME B16.1 Class 125 drilled flanges. The 2700 Series weld end damper can be welded in between two duct or pipe sections. The Medium Duty damper is a standard damper furnished in sizes 4” to 48” for all medium duty services. There are three series' of Wafer dampers available. The 2200 Series wafer damper is constructed to fit between 125/150# ANSI flanges. Louver and Rectangular butterfly dampers are also available from ShanRod.

GEMU is a manufacturer of plastic and metal butterfly valves. The 410 plastic butterfly valve is a 2/2 way, pneumatically operated valve with a plastic piston actuator that is corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free. The manually operated 417 2/2 way plastic butterfly valve has a handwheel with an integrated locking device to prevent accidental operation. The 423 plastic valve is a low maintenance electrical actuator with a reversible dc motor. GEMU's metal butterfly valves come in the same basic configurations as their plastic valve counterparts.

Asahi/America manufactures a variety of butterfly valves. They offer a wafer style, 2"-10", lever and gear model, and an industrial grade lever 1 1/2"-8" and gear 8"-14" model. Large size industrial grade, 18"-24" gear butterfly valves are available. Asahi also makes dampers and pool valves for chlorinated water. Their PDCPD giant butterfly valve comes in a large diameter 28"-40" gear style. Asahi butterfly valves are manufactured for mines, landfills, chemical processing plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, swimming pools and aquariums.

BVC butterfly valves offer manual resilient seated, automated resilient seated, manual high performance, automated high performance, teflon seated, triple eccentric, and AWWA 3" to 24" and 14" to 144" butterfly valves. Manual and automated high performance valves come in sizes of 2.5" through 36" with bi-directional bubble tight shutoff in wafer or lug styles. Manual and automated resilient seated butterfly valves come in sizes 1.5" through 48" in wafer, lug and double flanged styles. Triple eccentric valves come ins sizes 3" through 24" in triple eccentric, wafer lug, and gate valve face to face styles. The AWWA models offer double flanged and mechanical joint styles.

DynaQuip Controls has been a butterfly valve manufacturer for over 40 years. They offer sizes from 1" to 48", lug or wafer styles, stainless steel bodies, aluminum, cast iron or ductile iron, and a variety of disc materials from ductile iron to teflon encapsulated. Their manual butterfly valves come in a 340/342 Series with nylon coated disk. The 500/522 Series are resilient seated valves. The 600/622 Series are cartridge seated economy valves. The 899/892 Series are split wafer design. The High Seal Series is a high performance butterfly valve. DynaQuip also manufactures electrically and pneumatically actuated butterfly valves.

Johnson Controls manufactures a wide variety of butterfly valves, including commercial grade electrically and pneumatically actuated assemblies (two and three way non-spring return), industrial grade standard performance electrically and pneumatically actuated butterfly valve assemblies (two and three way), industrial grade high performance electrically and pneumatically actuated assemblies (two way non-spring return), and industrial grade standard performance manually actuated butterfly valve assemblies (two way non-spring return).

Swagelok offers fluid system components, such as butterfly valves for sanitary applications, to such markets as alternative fuels, analytical instrumentation, biopharmaceutical, chemical/petrochemical, food and beverage, oil and gas, power, pulp and paper, shipbuilding, semiconductor and process instrumentation. Sanitary butterfly valves offered include manual or pneumatic actuation and Kwik-Clamp, tube butt weld, and Acme threaded end connections. Specifications include maximum working pressures up to 145 psig (10.0 bar), maximum temperature rating of 250°F (121°C), stainless steel body materials, and silicone, EPDM, and fluorocarbon FKM seal materials. End connection sizes come in 1" to 4". On manual butterfly valves multi-position and two-position handles are available.

Triad Process Equipment is a ball valve manufacturer whose products are certified to ISO 9002 and are registered for use in Canada, conforming to standards set by the Canadian Technical Standards and Safety Authority. The Triad Series 750 butterfly valves have a cartridge seat design for improved ease of installation. They come in a manual type, 2" through 24", providing a low torque seal every time the valve is cycled. The Series 750 also comes in a pneumatic type, lugged or wafer style, with a spring return or double acting, 2" through 16". The Series 700 is an electric butterfly valve that comes in either lugged or wafer style, 2" through 16". Xomox manufactures the Tufline Series of fluorocarbon lined (FEP and PFA) butterfly valves for severe chemical applications that would otherwise require highly corrosion resistant metallic valves such as alloy 20, hastelloy and titanium. Their Tufline Series 800 high performance butterfly valves come in various types, including soft seated valves, fire tested valves, high temperature valves, and cryogenic valves. The Series 7000 resilient seated butterfly valves feature a stem configuration that provides positive attachment for handles or actuators (Double “D”, 2" - 24" ), and an actuator flange that can accommodate handles, gear operators, electric actuators, and pneumatic actuators (2" - 24" per ISO 5211). The Series 7500 resilient seated butterfly valves are corrosion free, offer a permanently tight closure, and are suitable for vacuum service. The Series 9000 severe service butterfly valves feature a triple-offset design, a wide angle seat design, a torque seated resilient metal seal ring, and a bubble-tight enclosure.

Emerson is a distributor offering Fisher butterfly valves that feature an eccentrically mounted disc, and a wide application range and shutoff capability. They are designed for control and isolation service from cryogenic to high temp and pressure classes to ASME CL2500. Sizes range from NPS 2 to 72. Fisher butterfly valves offered include a flangeless valve with a splined shaft for throttling control, a multi-class rated flangeless valve for throttling control, a high-performance butterfly valve with a splined shaft for throttling control, a rotary valve that offers excellent throttling performance with an approximate linear flow characteristic providing precise throttling control, a high-performance butterfly valve featuring a keyed or square-end shaft for various on-off applications, and many other types.

FNW first started manufacturing butterfly valves for the pulp and paper industry in 1969. Today they design and manufacture resilient seated butterfly valves for industrial applications such as pulp and paper, water purification, power and utilities, chemical/petrochemical, food and beverage, OEM and HVAC. Features include flanges designed for 125/150 lbs., standard 3166SS discs and stems for strength and chemical resistance, and an ISO 5211 mounting pad with square shaft that permits direct mount actuation to reduce hysteresis (2" to 12"). FNW also designs and manufactures high performance butterfly valves that feature bi-directional bubble-tight shutoff, a double off-set configuration with a conical angled disc, are available in wafer or lug styles, are stocked in carbon by stainless and all stainless steel configurations, offer an ANSI rated retainer ring for dead end service, and are rated to full 285 PSI pressure differential on bi-direction dead-end service.

PDC manufactures butterfly valves for temperatures up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit in sizes of 2 to 60 inches and in foundry cast iron and steel alloys. The PDC valves all possess tight machined tolerances, no typical weld fatigue, proper shaft alignment of rotating equipment and a wide choice of materials.

Bray International Inc. distributed 2 way and 3 way butterfly valves in wafer and lug style bodies. The Series 31 is comprised of automated butterfly valves is available in a lug or wafer style body with a thin profile disc and stem design. Its 2 way valves are characterized by an equal percentage flow while the 3 way valves have a liner flow. The Series 41 are comprised of high performance butterfly valves with bidirectional, zero leakage, shutoff, 150 psi saturated steam at 366°F for on and off applications, and 50 psi at 300°F for modulating services.

Valtorc's butterfly valves are lever, gear, pneumatic or electric operated and offered in a size range from 2 to 48 inches. The butterfly valves are also available in wafer or lug style body constructions with handles, manual gear operators and/or pneumatic actuators.
