PIRTEK Hydraulic Accessories Simple to Use and Replace

Reliability and keeping downtime to a minimum are two important factors required to keep equipment running and completing projects on time. Many companies rely on hydraulic attachments to carry out multiple tasks including earthwork, demolition, recycling and transportation. Operating mobile equipment often requires changing hydraulic attachments many times during the course of a single day. PIRTEK offers pre-assembled replacement hydraulic valve blocks with quick disconnect couplings and a pressure relief valve. Available in different sizes this easy to install and replace valve block allows operators to safely relieve hydraulic pressure before connecting or disconnecting attachments. Fitted with standard ISO flat face quick disconnect couplings makes this valve block compatible with most kinds of attachments manufactured today. This Hydraulic valve block was designed with simplicity and interchangeability in mind. The system allows for easy connection & disconnection by releasing the residual pressure using a pressure relief valve. The pressure relief valve is highly visible with a distinctive red handle which can be simply moved up and down to relieve pressure through a case drain line back to the hydraulic tank. Pre-assembled with ISO 16028 flat face quick disconnect couplings reduces the risk of contamination and fluid loss during the connection and disconnection process. Individual replacement parts are available on request.

Butterfly Valve integrates lugs into body.

Available in 3-8 in. lever-style and 10-12 in. gear operator-style, Type 57IL Isolator Lug Butterfly Valve can be electrically or pneumatically actuated. Unit's 316 stainless steel lugs are inserted into PVC valve body during injection molding process, permanently combining lugs and body into one unit. Molded flange stopper acts as body-stop, limiting compression of valve's full seat design liner, while absorption channel acts as stress relief.

Rectangular Vacuum Valves feature wide openings.

Rated up to 2 million cycles and available with 200-3,000 mm openings, bellows-sealed Rectangular Gate Valves feature L-Motion link assembly and dual shafts without springs in actuator to enable smooth actuation with minimal vibration. Dust Seal on vacuum side of bonnet flange virtually eliminates process particulate from entering bellows. At end of blade travel during valve closure, valves lock into position, and upon loss of operating air pressure, valves remain closed.

Fluid Handling Solutions from Bio-Chem Fluidics at AACC 2011

Boonton, NJ - Bio-Chem Fluidics will feature its electric rotary and solenoid pinch valves for OEM engineers at the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Clinical Laboratory Expo, booth 1211. The show takes place at the Georgia World Congress Center (Atlanta, Ga.), from July 24-28. Bio-Chem Fluidics' electric rotary valves provide inert fluid paths for sample collection, loop injection or flow path selection applications. The valves' precision machining eliminates flow path restrictions and provides a lower pressure drop than conventional solenoid mixing valves. The company's solenoid operated pinch valves feature smooth contours that guide tubing into the pinch points and eliminate snags and snares. Pinch valves are constructed from chemically resistant materials and available in 2-way normally open, 2-way normally closed, 3-way and dual tube configurations. Bio-Chem Fluidics will also display its full line of solenoid operated micropumps, and isolation and flow selection valves at booth 1211. For more information, e-mail sales.us@biochemfluidics.com, visit www.biochemfluidics.com or call (973) 263-3001. Bio-Chem Fluidics manufactures inert, high reliability, solenoid-operated pinch valves, isolation valves, dispensing pumps and manifolds for a wide range of industries including analytical chemistry, clinical diagnostics and medical device manufacturers. Slurry Knife Gate Valve keeps gate path and seat area clear.

Series DX, designed for heavy slurry applications in power and mining industries, provides drop tight shut-off in both directions. When valve opens, reinforced elastomer sleeves seal against each other and provide 100% full port opening. This minimizes turbulence as well as resulting wear, while seats isolate and protect all metal parts of valve from coming in contact with process. When valve is closed, sleeves provide drop tight seal.

Larox Wafer Knife Gate Valves for Fly Ash Application

NRG Big Cajun Power Plant in Ventress, Louisiana, USA, has bought DN 300 Larox wafer knife gate valves to its fly ash application. Big Cajun II comprises three coal-fueled steam units, which generate 1,700 megawatts of baseload or load-following generating capacity. Customer used to have problems holding a tight seal with their knife gate valves before. The cavity at the bottom of the valve was getting jammed up with material from the flowing medium. They purchased two Larox knife gate wafer valves and installed them early this year. The customer has been very satisfied with the performance and has since put three more Larox knife gate valves on order for this application. Larox Heavy Duty Wafer Knife Gate Valves are built with a cast body and features a heavy-duty stainless steel gate. Removable seats on either side of the blade provide a bi-directional bubble tight seal, with no metal parts in contact with the slurry. LKW is available with pressure rating up to 10 bars. Larox Flowsys Group has more than 100 employees and the number is growing. Headquartered in Lappeenranta, Finland Larox Flowsys Group has subsidiaries in Linthicum, Maryland (USA), Sydney (Australia), Johannesburg (South Africa) as well as in Kouvola (Finland). As almost 80% of the company's net sales come from global exports, the reliable and fast customer service is guaranteed by an international sales and service network, covering over 55 countries.
